Progressive Leasing is hiring a Director, Corporate Communications located in Draper, UT. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in how investors, customers, retailers and the general public perceive our company.


In this role, you will develop the strategic communication plan for the company and create content for external communications that is reflective of Prog’s brand, which will include press releases, investor relations, media relations, and government affairs. You will also assist in the creation of internal communications. You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging is delivered to external partners, customers, media outlets and stakeholders. Through your development of high-quality, multi-platform communication materials, you will successfully convey Progressive Leasing’s corporate narrative in all communications. This role will require a high level of collaboration while building cross-functional partnerships within the company.


  • Develop and direct the Company’s reputation management campaign to consistently and visibly reflect our core values and brand to all stakeholder audiences in a way that builds trust and confidence in the Company
  • Create and dispense content for press releases, byline articles, media talking points, customer communications and other creative content
  • Lead the implementation of corporate communications activities that align with and closely supports the Company’s business plan, and tangibly contributes to its long-term success in the competitive environment
  • Develop, maintain and enhance Prog’s relationship with media outlets to promote the company brand
  • Develop strategic communication plans, press releases, key messages and talking points for use with the media, investors and analysts
  • Partner closely with the investor relations team on corporate messaging
  • Assist in the creation of internal communications


  • 8+ years’ proven experience creating strategic communications plans for a high growth, publicly held company
  • 5+ years’ experience in executive and investor relations communications, preferably in a leadership capacity
  • Ability to interface effectively, build and maintain strong relationships externally and internally across business functions
  • Must possess exceptional intellect, with decisive analytical skills and the capacity to think out-of-the-box; bringing novel solutions to overcome barriers to success
  • Possess unquestionable personal and professional ethics
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly; easily shift priorities with a can-do attitude in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to persuasively present and communicate
  • Occasional travel as needed to support business objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations or equivalent years of professional work experience


  • Experience collaborating and coordinating in a geographically dispersed organization (US)
  • Prior Fintech or Financial Services public company experience is strongly preferred as well as experience working closely with media outlets
  • Master’s degree in Communications or Public Relations
