Retail Sales Specialist

Do you thrive on empowering others?  Do you love meeting new people and building relationships?  If so, we may have a great position for you!  Progressive Leasing has an opening for a field-based Retail Sales Specialist to provide support for our retail partners. In this role, you will act as the face of our brand, fostering relationships and direct to consumer selling within major national retail locations. You will approach potential customers and help them understand our web-based lease-to-own program, which provides a faster leasing experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain relationships with established retailers to drive margin and improve the store’s operational efficiency
  • Be personable, tenacious, approachable, patient and confident. These attributes will allow you to use your product knowledge to provide accurate and timely, point-of-sale guidance
  • Utilize technology, computers and tablets as you educate customers on lease-purchase transactions, including pricing options
  • Understand, retain and communicate product details in an outgoing, enthusiastic and confident manner with the ability to easily connect with customers and store staff
  • Responsible for the over all production of 5 to 7 retail locations
  • Ready, willing and able to work weekend shifts representing Progressive in established retail locations

Minimum Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Superior interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience providing a high level of customer support/retail sales support
  • Comfortable with technology and proficient using computers and tablets
  • Ability to consistently work weekend shifts
  • Our company is headquartered in Draper, Utah. This role is remote so you will be required to use your own vehicle to travel to your assigned merchant’s retail locations
  • High School diploma or GED, some college education preferred
